Why do tenants choose Fox Chapel Office Center?

Fox Chapel Office Center is ideal for businesses whose clientele live in the Fox Chapel School district towns of Fox Chapel, O'Hara, Indiana Twp, Aspinwall and Blawnox.   It is also convenient to the Hulton Bridge and the communities of Oakmont and Verona.

FCOC is 26 miles to the Airport and less than 10 miles to downtown Pittsburgh. Avoiding the grind of daily rush hour traffic into town is appealing.

Is Fox Chapel Office Center actually located in Fox Chapel?

Fox Chapel Borough is zoned residential and has no office buildings. FCOC is located in O'Hara Township.  The office and commercial businesses serving Fox Chapel are primarily located along the Allegheny River east of Route 28.  Most businesses whose name start with 'Fox Chapel' are in O'Hara Township.

How is Fox Chapel Office Center different from its competitors?

FCOC is a family-owned business. It is just big enough to have its own on-site leasing office and a full-time maintenance staff.
Our tenants appreciate that there are ample complimentary parking spaces for employees and clientele.

Are there business advantages to being in O'Hara Township?

O'Hara has no business privilege tax. The FCOC benefits from excellent safety services from the O'Hara Twp police, fire and ambulance service.

What services are included in quoted rents?

Quoted rents include water, sewer, trash hauling as well as snow plowing and cleaning of the common areas.

What services aren't incuded in quoted rents?

Internet is not provided.  Many tenants use Comcast Cable or Verizon as their provider.


Electricity is not included in quoted base rents. It is an additional charge. FCOC allocates actual monthly meter charges incurred to tenants based on leased square footage. Tenants benefit with lower allocations if they conserve on energy usage.

Office cleaning is not included in leased rents except for the shared suites.  Tenants may arrange for their own cleaning person.  With this approach, tenants enjoy control of the scope and frequency of their cleaning not to mentions security by limiting access to their space to people they choose.

How is mail handled?

The USPS mailman circulates through the buildings delivering mail to the tenants. If a tenant prefers to use a PO box, the Post Office for the area is practically next door on Old Freeport Rd.  Tenants can deposit mail in the blue drive-by mail boxes located in front of the Post Office.
There is also a FedEx pickup box outside for the FCOC tenants.
